Take the Whisper Mist system, for example. It features fireproof foam insulation and dual fans that actively cool the turbine by pulling in fresh air and exhausting warm air. These features aren’t just bells and whistles, they’re engineered for safety and performance.
HVLP turbines naturally run hot, and placing them inside closed boxes or furniture like ottomans may restrict airflow, increase heat buildup, and in rare cases, pose fire hazards. That’s why we never recommend enclosing the machine, ventilation is essential.

Our HVLP systems are precision tuned to deliver ultra fine mist with minimal overspray, resulting in more even coverage, less waste, and a professional finish every time.
We’ve had questions about things like the pickup tube not reaching the bottom of the cup, and here’s the scoop: it’s designed that way on purpose. If the tube touched the bottom, it could interfere with the seal and restrict solution flow, leading to sputtering or an uneven spray. We’re always listening, and updates like a flat tube design are already being explored.
And what about placing your machine on a chair or table? It won’t affect performance, our systems are completely sealed and unaffected by gravity, but it can be risky. A tumble from a table is a quick way to damage your system, so ground placement is the safest choice.
The Little Things That Keep You Glowing
APOLLO’s attention to detail goes beyond just the machine. For example, our spray guns, like the T6000 and T5020, are engineered for durability, but they need regular care to stay at peak performance. That means:
- Lubricating key parts like the needle shaft and material adjustment screw threads (and on the T5020, a couple of air distributor plate indents too).
- Rinsing with water and mild dish soap after each day or use.
- Using pro quality gun cleaners (like the one from Sjolie) with safe ingredients, no need for harsh chemicals like acetone.
